Six days left!

I've decided on a name for my mare: Zonta. It's Sioux Indian for "trusted" which I'm hoping will lead to some sort of self-fulfilling prophecy and will be a good omen. Also, SO excited that it's a mare! I get along so much better with mares, so m hoping that will put me ahead right from the beginning. Lol. :)

I don't know how I'm going to focus for the rest of the week, knowing that my life is going to change in less than a week. I'm getting more and more excited and nervous each day, I'm just praying that I'll be able to prove all of my doubters wrong and bond with an incredibly special horse that i just know will teach me so much.

Until then, I'll be attempting to prioritize school over ponies. :)

I'm in!

After weeks of nail-biting, not being able to focus at school, and one minor-ish foot injury, I heard back! I'm one of 40+ super lucky trainers who get the amazing and difficult task of training a mustang from the ground up and competing them 120 days later at the Gloucester County DREAM Park on August 2-4!

There won't be much more to say until I go to pick up the mustang on April 6th.

If anyone wants more information, visit www.extrememustangmakeover.com !!

I hope there are people who will enjoy accompanying me on the journey of training a wild pony!
